Dolence Advisors, PA has served the greater Fort Myers, Florida area since 1986 when Marty Dolence, having moved to the area in 1979 to accept a position at another accounting firm, became a sole practitioner. (Truth be told, Marty actually started the firm in Greensburg, Pennsylvania in 1976). Over our thirty-plus year history, we have earned a reputation of integrity, professionalism, and advanced financial expertise. While we are undoubtedly some of the best financial professionals in the Fort Myers, Florida area, we are also very approachable and take pride in our firm’s fun, relaxed, and caring atmosphere.
Our firm’s leaders, Marty Dolence and Sandy Peters, are intimately involved in ensuring that our internal and external culture remains positive, productive and engaging and that everything we do honors the commitment we have to serving our employees and our clients well. The cornerstone of our firm’s philosophy is client service and employee respect. We work with every client as an individual—not as a number. Over the years, our firm has grown and our office has relocated and expanded several times to continue providing our clients with exceptional service. Today, our team of seven professionals including two CPAs, two staff accountants (both preparing to sit for their CPA exams), two bookkeepers, and our firm administrator, work with our clients one-on-one, taking a personalized approach to helping them achieve their goals using our deep business and accounting knowledge and advanced technology.

As such, our firm is also known for its approachable, lighter side—including our annual themed tax campaigns (from NASCAR to the NFL to James Bond…we try to spice it up each year), which help to ease the tension of tax season for our clients and our team.
